I've been trying to find a way to make access case-sensitive. in one of my tables I have a Aw and a AW. is there any way I can make it so they both don't look the same in access.
Sorry, I know that this is an 'horse already bolted' solution.
However, wherever possible (and I know that this is usually due to inheriting responsibility of 'legacy' databases); whenever I create a database, I ensure that data is stored in the case format that I meed it to be OR update the data to be that format (this is generally only a very small sub-set of the data anyway).
I'd much rather solve the underlying issue once, as, if this data was exported elsewhere - would it not take this issue with it?
