Hi is there a way to implement case sensitive passwords for an Oracle user?

i will be authenticating using database usernames not OS authentication

Thanks

Beechill,

As you probably know already, native Oracle does not support case-sensitive passwords. There are, however, some schemes that exist that claim to provide case-sensitivity for Oracle passwords. You can read about such schemes and determine which best fits your needs by Googling for [Oracle "case-sensitive passwords"]; 413 hits appear.

Let us know if any fit your need.
