if I have 2 tables and a query with the two tables and a link betweemn them, how can I get the query link to be case-sensitive, eg. distinguish between GBP and GBp...

Cheers,

Kev.

The only thing I can recall that has talked about Case Sensitive is the following from Woody's Access Watch

This is from Woody?s Access Watch 7 December, 2000
---------------------------------
Q:Bryan Allen writes that he often uses phonetic fonts where upper case characters correspond to specific sounds, so he needs to do a case-sensitive search in Access.
A:The solution is to use Option Compare Binary in the Declarations section of the module, rather than the default Option Compare Database. The Binary selection treats upper-case and lower-case letters as separate characters.

---------------------------------
I have not attempted to try this

Paul, gave you another purple sheriff's badge for this post. I knew this could be done, actually did it several years back, but couldn't remember the way...

Ever notice that by the time that you realize that you ran a truncate script on the wrong instance, it is too late to stop it?
