Hi,

I don't know anything about mysql, but need to find the mysql data in a Web site that I am to alter. The Web site is definitely accessing this data to display information, but I just can't see where this invisible database is. (I am used to Access). I have looked for .myi and .myd files. Looked in all the folders. The DSN='/dbi:mysql:step:localhost;
Where is this data being stored?
Thanks.

It doesn't matter where the data is being stored unless you intend to back up or restore the data.

MySQL is a database server, not a database engine. MySQL has more in common with SQL Server and Oracle than with Access.

You just use SQL commands through your scripting language's communications interface to manipulate the information in the database.
