case conversion

I have a perl script to convert the case of directories and files. When I run it, it pops up a message "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by other process. Access denied" on the command prompt. However, it seems working fine for me. Why? Hope someone can answer this Q.

I'll bet you have opened a filehandle early in the script but not closed it before the end.
