Cascating 2 2924 XL

Folks, I'm trying to simply cascate from my new switch to my old one and it does not give me any link activity when I plug in.
I do not have any documentaion do the new 2924 XL but I think it is the VLAN that is holding my cascate.

I will be more than happy with any suggestion.

Hi there

A couple of things to check first of all

1- Are you using a crossover cable to connect the 2 switches???

2- Are any of the ports shutdown? If so issue a no shutdown command to enable the ports

If you do this and a link is established then we have made some progress
