Is it possible to have a shortcode invoke more than one functions? I'll explain what I want to do, and why.

We are currently running 2.0(18) and softconsole 2.0.9.

When using the BLF's within softconsole, the operator does a supervised transfer by first double clicking on a BLF; which works most of the time, however if the user is logged out, the call disappears into nowhere, there appears to be no way to return to the call (I know that if she hovered over the icon, it would say that the person was logged out, but she doesn't generally have time to do this).
In CallStatus application, the call appears with (what I can only describe as) a pause symbol, against our incoming call queue; however it doesn't present itself there, even after waiting 20 minutes, you still have MOH. You can not "steal" the call, if the incoming caller eventually hangs up, the call status still shows in this state, and the line stays unusable.
The only way to get the line freed up is to (a) reboot the IPO, (b) log the user in.

Now whilst there is no specific symbol to show Logged Out on the softconsole (as stated you can hover over the BLF to see the status), it also shouldn't loose the call if the extension is double clicked.

Now down to what I am trying to achieve. As a workaround, I'd like to unset/set DND on extensions prior to them logging in/out eg:
*35*2270*1234# followed by *09
and
*08 followed by *36

I would like to achieve this by doing the following
**2270 and ##2270

Any assistance or guidance on how to do this is appreciated.

I don't believe you can do this - but let us know if you've had any luck.
