I am having a problem trying to cascade 3 Onstream ADR50 external tape drives (top, middle,& bottom).

When I start a large backup that should span 3 tapes, BackupExec will start on one tape, then cascade to the 2nd tape, then when the 3rd tape is needed BackupExec will try to append to the 1st tape and error out saying that the tape has already been used in the current backup set.

I have tried several times, and BackupExec may use two different drives before it fails.

My scsi id's are 3(bottom) ,4(middle),and 5(top). I have a terminator on the "top" drive in the chain.

I have tried using all drives with the same priority (10) and each drive with it's own priority (8 bottom, 9 middle, and 10 top).

TIA for any help you can give... Jerry
