I have been looking around lately for some .fla's of animated cartoons.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am interested in making one, but am unsure how to go about animating the characters. Also, is it possible to animate a traced bitmap? How much work would this entail?

I know this post is a little vague, but I just dont have the information to be specific at this time.
