cartoon animation-problem

Hi there,

I am working on cartoon animation.I have drawn the cartoon using pen tool ,that is with the help of anchors.but i am facing a problem that is when i try to curve the anchors ,it does not allow me to do so.nor doeas it allow me to add any anchor to a bounded figure drawn in this manner.
i mean once i close a mouth then on the next keyframe io want to curve the mouth but that is not allowed.

could anybody tell me where i m worng...

The Flash pen tool is a bit of a pain to use if you're used to Photoshop.

However once you've closed a path and Flash has put a line in its place you can edit it using the normal selection tool instead of the pen tool.

If you hover the pointer over a line a curved line appears beside it and then you can drag and change the line's shape with the pointer to create animations.
