Hi

We want an output of tn's to ip/mac address. We are using the IDU command but we want to do this for 2000 sets in LD20. We tried to create a file with the command IDU followed by a tn for every tn, one per line and paste it into the console but the PBX doesn't seem to accept line feeds or carriage returns at the end of each line (tried hyperterm, netterm). Is there a way to explicitly put a CR at each line end? Like a ^M \n or \0 ???. Better yet is there another way to get IDU type output for every tn , similar to using TNB and a tn range?
Any help would be appreciated

You could go into LD 117 and do a INV GENERATE SETS. You will get a message when this is complete. Then you can do a INV PRT SETS. This gives you a TAB delimited file that is easily imported to Excel.

Hope this helps.

another way is in 117, inv generate midnight, they any time after that inv prt sets.. for your scripting problem, i perfer procomm aspect, that would allow you to save the tnb as a tab delimited then the script would use that file as a source.. after the transmit tn line, if needed you can add a line transmit "^M" if you need a carriage return.. i use aspect for several routine maint task as well as adding mail to a set adding phones etc
