'Carriage Return' function NOT WORK in DHTML Edit control(ActiveX)

'Carriage Return' function does not work in DHTML Edit control(ActiveX control). Is this problem due to the defect of DHTML Edit Control?
I have not been able to resolve this for a couple of years.
I with to share this problem with people in this site.
