caroot password?

I've got a big problem here. I've got a windows 2000 server running Brightstor arcserve 2000 v9.

I'm in the US connecting through terminal services to a server in the Netherlands which I set up a few months ago and shipped over. The old admin at the site renamed and reconfiged server. Now when I try to get into the arcserve on the server it asks me for the authentication. Username caroot-password ??????? Is there some way I can get to this password to change it or see what it is?

I know what password I put in originally but it isn't working. Am I going to need someone to reinstall Arcserve?

No you dont. Read the Admin Guide - they have a section there about what to do if you (need to) change the machine password.
Let me know if you dont find it, I will paste it here for you
