A colleague of mine recently approached me to see if we could attach a CardScan Executive device to our network (W2K Terminal Server w/MF 1.8 - as in subject), so that business cards can be scanned into Outlook. The plan is either to scan the cards into personal or public contact lists.
This seems like a bad idea to me in the sense that TS would likely hate it, but I figured I would ask if anyone else has been able to accomplish hooking a CardScan device to a Terminal Server enviornment.
The device uses either a parallel port or USB connection... What do you all suggest?
