Card game trouble

I wrote a draw poker game in DOS years ago. I have a copyright on the program. I would like to write the same program in VBA but am stumped re. the graphics of the playing cards. I know it is a dll in Windows but L don't know how to use it. Will appreciate anyones help.

What is the .dll? name

It's cards.dll, in the \windows\system directory (well /winnt/system32 on my 2000 machine)
