Hi ,
I have set expiry and 'days to warn user' for a user
which works fine, but (isnt there always one!) the 'days left before passwd expires' message appears and then shoots off the screen . I need either a pause so this stays on the screen before launching any profile (tried putting a sleep at the top of profiles, no good) or a way of sending the 'expiry message to a file so i can output it later.
I know in Solaris and HPUX you can use passwd -s do display things like this but cant seem to do it in AIX. A lnuser displays a date but only if i have a set date for expiry , rather than in x amount of weeks.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
