Capturing form and financial info with WSS

Hi

We have about 20 staff from all around the country accessing a WSS shared workspace. They have to send me monthly project reports and budgeting info. I would like to create templates to allow them to submit this info to me using Infopath Forms. The problem is none of them have the version of Office that comes with Infopath.

Is there any other way I can go about capturing this infomation efficently using WSS?
Or, is is possible for me to purchase, for each of them, a license for Infopath even if none of their other Office applications are 2003?
