I am automating Transformer models through batch files. If a model fails or completes, an exit code (%errorlevel%) of 0 (succesful), is produced. Cognos says they cannot help me because exit code info is proprietary. Is there a way to capture some type of information that will help me determine if a model fails?? Thanks. Matt

Matt,

Essentially it boils down to this:

exit code 0 means success
any non-zero exit code means failure (examine the log file for futher details)

There is no list of what the non-zero values mean because:

(a) the list would be too long to be useful for automation. An exit code is basically a number of an error message in the Transformer message files. In other words, there are as many exit codes as error messages.

(b) the meaning of the exit codes can, and do, change from release to release, as error messages are added/deleted from the product.

Sorry, but this is all that there is.
