I have a problem with a Dell Dimension 2200 running XP Home. It has two hard drives, 384 mb ram, and an Adptec DuoConnect combination USB 2.0/Firewire card. When I input video using a MiniDV camcorder and the Firewire port, the video and audio goes in choppy, even when the video application (Sonic or Roxio) is the only application running. The video is input into an 80 gb, 7200 RPM, Western Digital HD. Any suggestions about solving this are appreciated.

Thanks.

Are both hard disks sharing the primary IDE data cable?
Is write caching disabled on the non-boot disk?

Andy?
