I want to report on the number of callers who have abandoned but then redialled and been successful. I assume I can get this data from the call by call log but am not sure of the exact method that will give me the final figure. I can access the database with excel but am not sure how best to then gather and sort the data.

Does anyone do something similar and point me in the right direction.

You should look at the CDR from the switch and see any calls with destination SCCS CDN (abandoned at while waiting) and check if the same calls have destination agent PosID (reached an agent). CallbyCall report uses the same field to provide various types of information and will be difficult to run reports with criteria attached.
