I am replacing an SX2000 with a ICP3300 and was wondering is there a way to capture the directory from the SX2000 into a text file that i can then import into excel?

I have access to procomm plus

Any help much appreciated

1st, setup Procomm. Most important to do, somewhere in the setup (at least on 4.7) you need to put a check mark in "Disable Host Printing" (else Procomm will dump to your default printer).
Connecct to your 2K. Go to Applcation Logical Port Assignment, set formprints to go to LPR3, commit and confirm. Go back to maintenance. Turn on Procomm's capture file and enter:
form tel dir /p lpr3

then

en p/n

Once it's done scrolling, close the capture file and hit CTRL - C. Done.
