In SQL Reporting Services, is there a way to capture the exact SQL that is run for a user's report? This would help with troubleshooting long-running reports. I know that we can capture the parameters, but it would be nice to capture the final SQL query after the parameters have been inserted and be able to join this information to the user that requested it, how long the query ran for, etc.

can you not just open the .rdl file and view the SQL ??

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
