Hello FLASH'ers friends!

I am wondering if anyone can point me in some direction for this project I am about undertake. This is what I want to do:

Neatly capture snapshots of my screens. These screens are templates or data entry screens for my Accounting application.

Take snapshots of screens and use them in FLASH to create CBT application.

Does anyone know of a program I can use to capture screens and create vector images and/or FLASH compatible images?

Thank you all in advance;

josel

PC?
The easiest would be to use ALT->PrintScrn(key), and paste this grab in any image editor, like Photoshop. Edit, trim it and export it as gif or png or even jpeg, and import it in Flash.

oldnewbie,

I tried that but the quality is ver poor. I just ran a search in google and came up with a number of them ...

I will go through these and try them out!

Thanks for replying.

I am working on a similar application and have found that doing the Printscreen thing and pasting the images into my image editor works pretty well. The main thing I did was make sure that resized the image to its final size in the image editor before bringing it into Flash. Seems that the resizer in my photo program is better than the one in Flash.

williamk,

What are you using to edit your images?

I have PhotoShop (which I never used, just have it building dust on my shelves). I also have MS PhotoDraw.
