We have two devices that output SMDR data. One is a PBX and the other is an Internet Billing server.

Right now we have them running into a terminal eliminator which has 4 slave ports and 1 master. Each device is plugged into a slave port and that info drops out the master port to the call accounting.

My main question is what type of recomendations does anyone have for this type of hardware device. Currently we use the black box terminal emliminator but we are having a lot of problems with them.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

look at some omnitronics or western telematics......these are buffer boxes that we use to connect multiple pbx to ISI call accounting systems......they come in different sizes to accomodate the number of input devices that you need

To error is human.....if the machine doesnt work, then KICK IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had great success with Omnitronix and RSI call accounting. You may also want to try Avotus which offers their own buffer / software combination. It is a bit more pricy however.
