Capture signature

I need to connect a signature capture device to my VFP application to capture a persons signature and save to a database and/or to a file (bmp/jpg/tiff/png etc).

Does anyone have any experience with vendors products, SDK, Active X controls?

This is basically no different from capturing a photo or a scanned image. There are several ActiveX controls and other third-party components that will enable you to do this in VFP.

If your capture device is TWAIN-compliant (and the chances are that it is), a good option would be EZTWAIN. For an example of how to use this in VFP, see my article "Controlling TWAIN devices from within VFP", at:

But that's just one of many possibilities.
