does anyone know how to capture video from canon xm2 onto adobe premiere? I've only done it via dv tape deck onto networked computers before and need now to capture onto my own pc via usb...is it possible?

Capture into Premiere is only possible using FireWire. USB links are not supported.

If your computer does not have a FireWire port, then it should be possible to fit a FireWire card (they are not expensive) to add that facility.
