Everyday an automated health check script is run and the results are saved to a file on a shared drive... Is there any way to retrieve the files for two consecutive days, compare both... send just the differences to a third file... then delete/discard the first?... If so... how would that be accomplished?...

I apologize, I am just beginning to learn about this Procomm/ASPECT stuff... Referencing this forum (and its mentioned resources) has been beyond helpful... I just haven't found a similar question...

Thanks

I think rather than doing this in ASPECT (which would likely be possible, but involved), you might instead looking for a utility that can do the comparison and have your script launch that application (using the proper command line, including the names of the two files to compare) at the appropriate time.
