Hi there
I have an Access XP front end and SQL Server 2000 back end application. In my store proecdures I have written error messages, to handle some of the inputs the users try and save to the database. The errors appear if incorect data was entered by a user, however this disruptes the way the screens work ( front end). I would like to capture the error in access and make the screens do what I want them to do. The problem is I don't know how to capture the errors returned by the database. All user defined errors have the same error number, which makes it impossible to cater for different situations. Is there a way I can capture an error and treat it uniquely from other errors.
Thank you in advance
