Captions on Images

I would like to be able to have a caption appear when the mouse hovers over part of an image (for example - a group of people would have their name appear as the mouse hovers over them on the group photo).

Has anyone any suggestions?

use the "title" property in the tag (ie only)
just like : <img src=... title=&quot;you'll see me in the tooltip&quot;>

If the user has tooltips turned off, it won't work.
Try this little script instead.

jim you're right, but usually, if the user turns the tooltips off, he doesn't want any tooltip (personnaly i hate when a site tries to find workarounds to use what i don't want to ! best way to kick me out of a site !)
