Hi

Is there anyway of sharing a database over a network but being able to change the caption of "filemaker pro" to the name of the file open?

Im using Filemaker Dev 6 but except in run-time (which i can share over a network) I can't see how to?

when a file is opened and maximised the "caption"( if we are talking about the same thing) of the title abr changes to its name.

The taskbar caption of actually filemaker program. I know you can get plug-ins to change it and you can change it in the run-time version but is there a way of chaning it for network shared so that it displays the active file?

I don't have the Dev version just the FM Pro 6 so we might be talking about different thing...can u make a screen caption of it...
I know u can use Status functions in Srcpit that will show CurrentFile.....perhaps u can implement that, again I can not visualise what ur taking about.....post the shoot if u can.
