I have created a query in Access 2000. The field name needs to be different than what is displayed so it will be understandable to the user. Under properties for the field name I entered a name in the caption. When I run the query, the caption does not appear, the field name does.

Example: field name is ltdate, would like the caption to show loaned to date

What needs to be done to display a caption for a specific field?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, this statement gives heading BRØNN on field WELL in Table WELLIST

SELECT WELLIST.WELL AS BRØNN

Does it ansver the question?

Kjell

No it doesn't answer my question. Do I enter the "select" statement in the criteria portion of the query?
