Caps only in TERMINAL mode needed 1

Can I tweek my termcap so that when the user is typing in "UNIX" they get all caps regardless of the capslock status? They live in UNIX 99% of the time and when they go to WORD or OUTLOOK they shout. Can they be in all caps for UNIX and not all caps in Windows? I don't wanna simply code a "turn capslock on" I need a "if k then K". Thanks too much for your help here.

look at man stty.
One of the options will do just that (olcuc (-olcuc) to be more specific)

Your recomendation is appreciated. The results were less than disirable. The keystrokes were translated as desired but so was the terminal information. And the screen looked like it does when you are in the wrong terminal mode in that the graphics are all sorta not there. Really ugly mess. I guess more pointedly I need the keyboard input translated from lowercase to uppercase. Thanks for all your help here.
