Capabiility on BCM like the CSE1000 Direct inward System Access

We are looking at providing the capability of a user calling our BCM and then being able to call another number from there. On the CSE1000, this is provided as DISA. It appears that on the BCM I should be able to do an AutoAttendant with a CCR that allows calls by Route. Will this work and equally important, on the CSE1000 I have the ability to put in a passcode for protedtion, can I do this on the BCM.

I don't think you can go to a DISA DN from the AA. But you can use DISA with a password.

1) Set up a DISA DN that matches a DID number on your system.
2) Build a COS password for DISA.

If it will work from AA I'm sure someone here will let us know.

If you really need an AA, then you could have the vmail outdial to the DISA number, but that would send the call out and right back in. It sounds like you just want a number to answer with DISA. Assign the telephone number to a target line and enter the TL number as the DISA DN. The phone system will answer with dial tone. If you want a password, then do as hawks said and create a COS password. That step is mandatory anyway, (I think)

I don't necessarily want to use AA and was just suggesting one method. I know how to do a DISA DN on the CSE1000, but what do i need to do on the BCM. thanks,

Just assign your receive digits from Telco in the Public Disa DN feild.
When the call comes in it will see that there is no Target Line built for those numbers so it will look at the DISA next and answer with stutter dial tone.

Then assign the COS with the restriction filter and password for the DISA.
