cap help

I have a 7324w/cap, when the secretary sends the call to an extention and that person puts the call on hold is there anyway to see that set as busy, IE: on the cap i can tell when someone is on the phone but when i put them on hold it releases that view and makes it look like that extention is free for calls, i am running 3.6 on a bcm 400.

Not on the 7324 with CAP (you get the dumb triangle only), but the 7316E with KIM modules will show you that info.

doesnt work, still get the same view. It does not show when someone had a call on hold in the mail console. I want the secretary to see that i am not available for a call even if i have someone on hold

How many intercom keys have you got.

Have you got 2 if so try 1 and see if that works. Might not suit if you like the functions 2 intercom keys give you.

That was an idea of mine but was told that wouldnt work, I think I will try it tomorrow, thanks for confirming that. Will let you all know.
