CANWPABD.NLM reported a critical error-Novell6.5 1

Hi,

I am having trouble with ARCserv in Novell 6.5 server. After a server restart, when I try to start ARCserv by using 'Astart' command, I am getting following error:

May-30 14:42:38 CANWPABD.NLM SCSI board driver has been unloaded.

I am on novell6.5 server with 2 node clustering on EMC.

Please help me to resolve this.

Install the ARCserve service pack and during the install make sure the correct SCSI controller is selected.

Hi David,
Thank you for your reply. I've other servers with same ARCserv configuration and working without any problem. This server restarted unexpectedly and after that 'Astart' Command stared throwing errors.
First time it gives me 'E21402' error; and I deleted Queue and Queueserver and recreated it. After that when I try to run 'Astart' it is giving this error.
This server is in production, is there any other work- around for the ARCserv to start running.

As far as I know it is only set during the install.
Perhaps CA support will know of a work-around.

What happens when you issue the 'list devices' command from the NetWare Console ?

I can see the devices. Some one suggested me to 'Power OFF and On the tape enclosure and then restart the server. I did the same and that issue got resolved. But after that it is giving me another error: E6131 TAPESVR.NLM'S loading sequence has been interrupted due to fatal error..

Can you configure the devices correctly through the Device Configuration utility ??
