Can't write a pdf with AdobePDF Printer

Anyone come across this issue? I try to print a web site, pick Adobe PDF as my printer, then I pick my location to save to, progress bar gets all the way to 100% and I get the following error;

There was an error found when printing the document "websiteaddress/pdfname.pdf" to My Documents\*.pdf

It's trying to make a *.pdf of it? whats going on?

Why are you choosing Adobe PDF as your printer if you don't want to make a PDF? (which is how I read your post). That's what Adobe PDF will try and do although I have never heard of a PDF being made directly from a web page.

I want to make a pdf, this error also happens when trying to make a pdf out of word or excel

I have the same problem. Did you find a fix? Seems like I had this a couple of years ago, but don't remember how I fixed it, unless I did a repair or re-load of Adobe.
