Can't view Tiff Image

Running Windows XP. IE6 with Service Pack 1. I cannot view a Tiff Image on the Internet. I Upgraded IE5 to IE6 w/SP 1 which is suppose to fix this known issue. Didn't work. I Uninstalled IE6 and reinstalled no good., I edit the registery, still no good. I assoicated the file with Fax & Picture viewer, still no good. I can view the image off my hard drive just can't view it off the internet. I messed with all the settings in internet Explorer still no luck...Help.....I had another Tech person look at it , He stumped....He actually formated the Hard drive and still no good...Help....

What error messages do you get? Does the image load even partially? *.tif files are quite large in comparison to the more-commonly used *.jpg and *.gif files on the Internet and take considerable time to download.

Generally, you will need a plug-in to view the tiff image in the browser. I have had good luck with this one:
