Can't view individual mailboxes from backup

Hi

We recently changed our administrator password on our Exchange server and since doing so we find we are unable to restore individual mailboxes. If we do need to do a restore we would have to do them all which would be disastrous. Any ideas please?
 
Who's backup product are you using? Are you still able to backup the Exchange databases, I assume you run a brick backup for the mailboxes?

Do you mean you can't open up the mailbox in the restore window, or that the restore fails?

What accounts operate the services for the backup software and the Exchange services?
 
Hi

I forgot to mention that we are using Veritas as our backup software. We carry out a full backup everyday.
