I have a couple of Windows XP clients who are a part of AD and they get the following when tryin to upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Flash ..."Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher swflash.cab".

The same thing happens when signed on with administrative rights.

I am using group policies but cannot determine if they are causing this or not. I have lowered the security for the Internet zone and nothing seems to help.

Any ideas?

Half of the computers in our network are also having this problem- tried using a disc with full admin rights and still it will not install.
Tried it with Firefox too; no luck.
Anyone with any suggestions?

I did some more research, and there is an adobe flashplayer fix on their site. Use the uninstaller and remove adobe reader/standard. Reinstall (don't mind the error codes) and then install the 'fix'. Reboot and everything works now. I fixed 6 PC's this way.
