Can't use the 30gb of my tape

hello.. i was wondering if anyone could help me about this..
I'm using C5141A tapes that would allow me to save 30Gb using compression.. but the best i can use is 26Gb using compression.. i have search for some faq in HP but i could not find any source of help.. so i'm trying here...

The 30GB is a nominal figure. Really it is a maximum! So to get 26GB is really very good.
