Another strange issue:

I have a file that exists in 3 places on our network. The original file opens in Corel Draw 9 just fine. However, the other two locations return the following error message, and will not allow to open:

Either the file is not importable using the selected filter, or this format is not supported.

Anybody seen this?

The files may be corrupt. Try copying them to your desktop, also check their attributes, make sure they are not read only. Then try re-opening them in corel.

Also, does anybody have a different (higher version) of corel on your network? They may have saved them in that format.

Cheers

Thx to all who respond ;)

In addition to what Braddds said, try *importing* the files instead of *opening* the files... but odds are the files are corrupt. Why not just have your IT staff restore the files from a good backup?
