Can't use scroll mouse in excel 97

I am unable to use my scroll mouse in Excel 97. I am able to scroll in other office applications such as word. I am also able to scroll in Internet explorer.
Any Ideas as to why this is happening?

Mine works fine, so it must be machine specific. Have you got SR2a loaded? Have you got the absolute right driver for the mouse loaded?
