cant upgrade remote agent!!!!!!!

i need to upgrade remote agent from 9.1 to 10..
tried to push it out ,but i did not work..

please help out

I would remove the old agent first then reboot.

This is exactly what I am trying this morning. the 9.1 remote agent uninstalled. but could not install the v 10 agent. tried pushing, copying to the server. anyway, I scheduled a roll last nite, and am going to try to install today.. will let you know how it goes.
I too, in my previous tek-tip question. I did get the error of not being able to install v10. on a server with error 1603.

will let ya know if the reboot deal will work..

May work, but you need to search the install log for the text "return vaulue 3" There may be several instances of this, but the error is generally right above the return vaiue 3

some did put a Ipsec filter on port 10000,,

after i remowed that filter it was no problem

to push out remote agent
