can't update to savce 10.0.2.2001

hi

symantec released an update to close the issue with the heap overflow called SAVCE_10.0.2.2001_AllWin_EN.msp.
I have the problem to install this package. tried it via command line and remoteinstalation utillity but without success.
via command line i get a error message that the program isn't installed or it's the wrong version.

the update to 10.0.1.1007 works without problems !
any ideas whats going on ?

10.0.2.2001 patch can only be applied to SAV 10 MR2... you have to be running 10.0.2.2000 before it will install.

You can also combined MR2 and MP1 for MR2, but that's a different story.

So if you are running 10.0.1.1007, and it is one machine:

- upgrade to MR2
- reboot
- install the patch
- reboot

How do you know there is a 10.02 upgrade out? Did Symantec send you any email notification? I haven't got any...
