Hello,
We setup the win 98 workstation to run update every weekday at 5pm using the DAT file on a central location. All of the computers with VirusScan v4.5 /SP are able to update to DAT4248 but some others that are running VirusScan v4.5.1 SP1 can't. On the computers with VirusScan v4.5.1, the auto update run and the message says that it was successful and DAT versions were the same. First of all, the computers have an older DAT version, 4244; secondly, they were able to update to DAT version 4244. We don't know what the problem is this time. There is one difference we think of is that the v4.5 computers have Hotfix. Should we apply the Hotfix to the ones running v4.5.1, too? Is it even worth the sweat to upgrade from v4.5 to v4.5.1?
Thank you.
