Hi

Unusual subject I know I struggled how to put this into 10 succinct words. Not sure if anyone can reproduce this error but here goes...

I have a large Access database that has been in use commercially for years so you can imagine the use it has had. It has many many forms and somne of these forms are complicated and some are not.

I am having an issue with after I change a form and then save it it becomes unusable If I try and open it I get an error message. Mostly the error message says that isn't enough memory to perform the task etc. It ONLY happens if I delete something. I can go into design view and add loads of extra fields etc and it will work fine but the moment I delete anything once I then save it it will never open again and I end up having to import the form again from a backup.

There is VB code with the form.

I have compacted and repaired, decompiled and recompiled , imported all the fields into a new form etc tried importing all objects to a new database and nothing seems to fix it . I am guessing that if I painstakingly re-creating the form by hand it would probably work but that isn't really an option when I have 500+ objects etc.

As well as the above I can't copy and paste on the form, If I copy ( or cut ) then when I paste it always says "Must have a value" but on most forms it is fine. I accept that that maybe the form is corrupt somehow but not sure what to try next.

I am wondering if anyone out there has ever experienced the same and what if anything they did about it ?

Thanks for reading

Hope this helps!

Regards
