Client has ACS with Partner messaging. They set up the messaging with normal mailboxes for people with physical extensions and also three digit mailboxes for out of office phantom mailboxes.
The phantom mailboxes are in the 111 to 119 range. For this question we will deal with box 113, there is no box 11 on the system.
The Auto attendant can transfer fine into the 113 mailbox.

Here's the problem - They cannot use a VM Transfer button to send a live call into the 113 box. This is obviously a problem.

Any comments/questions/suggestions?

TIA

I could be wrong, and hopefully am, but I think that is a glitch with the Partner. You can get around it by pressing transfer 770, wait for voicemail to answer and then press *8 + 113 (or whatever extension) and then hang-up.

I don't think the PACS will recognize 3-digits, but hopefully someone in this post will prove me wrong.

It's not a glitch in the Partner, it's a glitch in assuming that 3 digit extensions for guest mailboxes was a good idea.

The Partner has valid extensions from 10 to 57 (49 for an R3). Start at the end and work backwards for guest mailboxes, then you can assign them Auto VMS cover and set their VMS Cover Rings to 1.

Otherwise, you are correct that you would need to transfer to 777, wait for answer, and dial *8 and the 3-digit extension number, then hang up to complete the transfer.
