Cant transfer data from 95 PC to 2K PC

I need help on transferring data from a box that is running windows 95c to a windows 2k PC without network connections, without changing any attributes of the old files/folders. Any suggestions?

Install the 95 hard drive as a slave in the 2k machine, and just do a copy from disk to disk?

If you have to keep the drive where it is, use a parallel (printer port) or serial null modem cable and Direct Cable Connection (DCC) -

Please jumper win95 as slave and 2k PC as master then use your EZ and drive copy.Choosing Win95 as destination file while 2k PC as source drive.
