Cant transfer a call a second time

Hi,

I have a user that cant transfer a call for a 2nd time. For example, they take a call and transfer it to someone whos phone is going to voicemail. They go back to the caller and ask if they want to leave a message or speak to someone else, if they want to speak to someone else they then cant transfer it again.

The phone is a 3904 with MCR on 2 of its keys.

Any suggestions?

Is it that the "Transfer" menu choice disappears from the display? I've seen that and solved it by updating the phones firmware.

The user says that they get the option to "SWAP" instead. Not sure if its SWP, SWAP or exactly what is on the screen. It may be that it says that instead of Transfer, i will check.

Either way, it still may be solved with a firmware update. The "Swap" should go away if you press the line that was held during the transfer/confer process.
