Can't Telnet to port 25

my smtp gateway is not working so I tried to telnet to port 25 of my groupwise box...not working...i already wen't through the novell tid's...any ideas?

is your GWIA on the same box?
What does the log say? (The GWIA log)
Was it ever up or is it a new install?
Windows or Netware?
Which GW version?
If you have IMAP or POP enabled, can you telnet to them?

Without knowing your full situation this would only be a guess. But if you are using an ISP they could possibly be blocking Port 25. Like I said, with out knowing your setup it's hard to give a definitive answer.
